This is a little to wtf even for my lowbrow sensibilities. Kinda makes "Popstar Trishii" look hip and relevant.

 

Well........maybe not. Too bad her music video is off youtube (it was just one of those things you had to see to believe).

I had some totally whacked out information regarding a couple of posts about Anchorman. I did not do my homework and feel like a complete tool.  Please forgive the deleted posts and gross misinformation.

Rammstein Für Immer!

Guten Tag! Last Thursday evening I attended a concert for the german band Rammstein (remember the song "Du Hast"?).  I was also fortunate enough to see their last concert here in Los Angeles about a year ago. That particular concert was the first time that the band had played here in the states for about 10 years. 

How did each show measure up? Both shows were FUCKING AWESOME! To be honest I don't listen to Rammstein's music all that much but each concert ticket was worth every penny. Not only does the band sound amazing live but the show itself is loaded with changing stage decor, flying sparks, fireworks, cannons that spray foam and custom flame throwers. Each show was slightly different in terms of music set, stage decor, and special effects but my feelings of awe was equal for both shows. 

The next tour dates are in Texas. If you have the means, go see 'em! If not, at least blare some Rammstein durring an upcoming Forth of July fireworks display or any other event where you can get your mitts on some bottle rockets/ other things that explode. 

Sneezing Beast

Spring has lit its proverbial match under my ass as of late. Here's what I've been up to...........

The weather patterns of Southern California have been changing back and forth from heat waves to rainy days. The extreme changes are hell on the sinuses (not to mention how the change adds to the climbing pollen count) but it makes for a beautiful garden season. I have been spending much time outside playing in the dirt. I took this photo earlier in the week in my mother's garden. It still makes my nose itch a bit just looking at it.

Also, I'm starting work on a few more art pin and jewelry pieces for Etsy. My most recent stint of work has allowed me to buy some new materials and I am really excited about some of fun pieces I will be able to crank out. I should have more items listed by some time in May.

I wish I had more to report on but to be honest I have a mild hangover and it is not allowing my brain to work at full capacity.

Monsterpalooza 2012

 Greetings cephalopods of the deep dark interwebs! Today marks the beginning of the three day anual  Creature FX convention Monsterpalooza.  Some of my friends and work colleagues are going to have art and merchandise featured. One of the guests that I look forward to meeting is Caroll Spinney . Don't get me wrong, I like horror movies and creatures but muppets are by far my biggest soft spot. : )

I slap thee with my action boner.

Tonight I saw The Raid : Redemption. I will not give away details or try to write a review. However, I fully recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a good ol' fashioned orgy of ass kicking. This film is worth every penny and I plan on seeing it again.
